Circulating Collection
Circulating items are materials that you can be check out and take home for a specific length of time. Our collections are enhanced by our membership in the Mississippi Library Partnership. If you can't find a particular print or electronic title in our collection, search the Online Catalog to find it at another library, request it, and pick it up at the library of your choice.

The Juvenile Collection contains books for use in K-12 classrooms, including young adult books, a wide variety of award-winning books, graphic novels, picture books, fiction, and nonfiction for K-12 students and pre-service teachers. Books not in the MSU Libraries collections
If you can't find the book you are looking for in the MSU Libraries collections, you can request to borrow it from another library with an interlibrary loan through ILLiad.

eBooks
Electronic books (ebooks) are digital resources licensed for use by the patrons of MSU Libraries.

Microform Books
The Microforms Collection includes a number of book collections, including Early English Books I and II.

Mississippi State Adopted Textbooks
A collection of the elementary and secondary textbooks currently adopted for use in Mississippi's public schools, including textbook kits and associated CDs, DVDs and cassettes.

Rare Books
Our collection of rare and significant books includes several distinct collections pulled together by individuals, reflecting special interests or periods of printing. In addition, there are volumes which are rare by virtue of the scarcity of copies, the fragility of the volumes, association with certain individuals, or special features of printing, binding or illustration.
